메리옷 타일랜드가 태국관광청이 주관하는 2006 타일랜드 투어리즘 어워드_Thailand Tourism Awards 호텔부문에서 3개의 상을 수상했다.

파타야 메리옷 리조트 & 스파_Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa가 도심호텔의 Outstanding Performance상을 수상한 것을 비롯하여 후아힌 메리옷 리조트 & 스파_Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa가 리조트호텔부문 Excellence상, JW 메리옷 푸껫 리조트 & 스파_Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa 또한 Excellence상을 각각 수상하였다.

금번에 수상한 메리옷 호텔들은 2004년에도 각 부문에서 동일한 상을 수상한 적이 있다.
