오는 8월 31일부터 9월 1일까지 양일간 서울 캐피탈 호텔에서 ‘태국 교육/문화 세미나 및 박람회 2008’이 열린다.
31일 오전 10시 오프닝을 시작으로 주한 태국 대사관의 태국 비자에 대한 설명 후 이틀간 다양한 주제로 태국 내 교육에 대한 세미나가 이어진다. 박람회는 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 5시까지 열린다.
이 세미나는 태국 교육부 내 상임 비서실의 사교육 위원회에서 주최하는 것으로 양국간의 교육에 대한 협력 강화를 위해 태국의 국제 교육 시설, 일반 교육, 직업/기술 교육, 단기 직업 교육 코스 등을 한국에 소개하고 학생 교류 및 협력을 증진시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 주변 국가들 학생들간에 외국에 대한 이해와 태국의 문화뿐 아니라 선진 학원 시설과 교수법을 알리고 앞으로의 협력 방안에 대해서도 논의할 수 있는 자리가 될 것이다.
태국 현지에서 교육부 직원 1명 외에 태국 내 14개 학교/학원에서 총 31명이 참가할 예정이다.
